Endress+Hauser places high importance on its corporate social responsibility (CSR) and the structured, foresighted approach it takes. Therefor, we take part in the EcoVadis rating. EcoVadis runs a platform that allows companies to assess the environmental and social aspects of their suppliers. For us, it is not just a certificate, the concept of sustainability is anchored firmly in our values. For this reason we have made the EcoVadis rating one of our strategic key figures.
The result in 2017: Gold for Endress+Hauser.
We received a Gold Recognition Level certificate in the audit, improving on the previous year’s result with 66 points. To achieve this recognition, a company must have an overall score of 62 to 100.
The evaluation is based on 21 criteria that cover environmental, ethical and social aspects, as well as the supply chain. We achieved an above average rating for all categories, which confirms that we attach great importance to this issue and that it pursues a structured and forward-looking approach.
With 66 points, we are in the top two percent of all certified companies evaluated by EcoVadis.
